5 Fun “Rented” Spring Dresses
Truth be told…I don’t own any of these amazing dresses! Yep! EVERY dress I am wearing is rented! How else would I be able to AFFORD to wear all of these designer looks?
If you have ever considered using a clothing membership service, I highly recommend Rent the Runway. I love wearing these designer clothes to work every week with my Unlimited membership. I blogged all about my first shipment here with lots of tips and tricks
AND…why stop at renting your clothes? I also rent my jewelry from Rocksbox. You can try your first monthly box 📦 for FREE with my code KARENLBFF41 at checkout! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Spring Pastel & Stripe Sweater Dress

I think it is time to fold up our sweaters and pack away our boots! Spring is just around the corner. This pastel striped Beta knit dress from Tanya Taylor makes me so happy. It retails for over $460, but I can wear it all month with my Rent the Runway Unlimited membership. I am wearing it with a faux suede blush pink moto jacket since it is still a bit cool in the morning.
Navy and Red Blossom A-Line Dress
What’s your favorite dress style? I think my favorite style of dress is an A-LINE! This adorable A-Line dress from @draperjames is not too fitted and not to flared! It’s just perfect! Mixed the pretty 💠 blue and 🌹 red florals with this bright red blazer for the perfect Spring outfit
Knitted & Ribbed Striped Skirt/Dress
This is not a dress, but paired with this blouse it felt like one! I felt like a million bucks in this outfit. No wonder, as this 3.1 Phillip Lim multi striped wrap skirt retails for $695! Eeekk! Let me tell you, the fit and the cut of this skirt was so flattering.
Flowing Red Floral Dress
Bright & Graphic Empire Waist Dress
One cute dress two ways! This adorable Parker NY Donie knit dress from my Rent the Runway Unlimited membership looks so different with each jacket. This dress was so fun to wear & would be something I would have never bought for myself. But, after renting it I was tempted to keep it! 💜
I styled it with this beautiful lavender Mackage Sandy Leather Jacket, also rented from my Rent the Runway Unlimited membership . This leather jacket was brand new and I was the first one to rent it & came with a retail value of $750! Yikes! I linked several “budget reality” options in the product carousel above! But, I so enjoyed wearing it all week and then sent it back so I could pick out something new.
The second look is styled with a vintage BCBGMAXAZRIA black leather blazer I scored at my local Goodwill! So I went from a $750 jacket to one I found for $14.99! I LOVE IT!
In closing, you don’t have to have tons of money, or rack up credit card bills to have fun with fashion and have NEW clothes to wear every month! Try out a Rent the Runway Unlimited membership for a month – or just rent one piece for a special occasion.
Make my heart sing!
